Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026
Fidei Trading Limited provides the Calculator Android app and its policy information pages. We value your control over calculation records and personal notes. This policy explains local processing in the app, the system services you choose to use, and information you voluntarily send when contacting us.
Privacy and support contact: ymwotow411846@gmail.com.
1. Content processed on your device
The calculator stores the current input, expressions, results, calculation notes, archive names, history, recycle-bin entries, and related timestamps in private app storage. The separate notebook stores note titles, bodies, creation and update times, and a random identifier used to distinguish each note. A note identifier is not an advertising identifier and is not used for tracking across apps.
The app also stores preferences such as language, theme, text size, decimal display, sound, vibration, and accessibility locally. This content supports calculation, display, search, restoring your working state, and the feedback features you select. Notes you enter may contain personal information; you decide whether to record sensitive content.
2. Remote collection, accounts, and advertising
The current app has no account registration or login, developer-operated cloud sync, advertising SDK, analytics or crash-reporting SDK, in-app purchases, or subscriptions. The app requests internet permission to display its privacy policy and terms in an in-app WebView. Calculation and note-taking remain local, and the app has no feature that uploads your calculation records, notes, or preferences to our servers. We do not sell your content or build advertising profiles through this app.
Development and debug builds may record sound modes, media volume, language, and speech-engine status locally on the device. These audio diagnostic logs do not contain expressions, calculation results, or note bodies, and the app does not upload them.
The absence of uploads by this app does not mean that data can never leave your device. System services, copying or sharing that you initiate, and your voluntary support communications have the boundaries described below.
3. Android system backup and device transfer
The app allows Android system backup. Depending on your device, backup provider, and system settings, private app preference files may be included in your cloud backup or restored during device transfer, reinstallation, or recovery. This may include history, archives, notes, and settings.
Whether backup occurs, where it is stored, how it is protected, and how long it is retained depend on the system and your chosen backup service. We do not provide a separate cloud-notebook account and cannot manage or delete system backups from the app. You can review, disable, or manage backup through your device and backup-service settings.
Deleting local content, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app does not automatically delete existing backups. Restoring an older backup may bring back content that you previously deleted.
4. Speech, screen readers, and input services
When you select spoken keys or result reading, the app passes key labels and calculation-result text to the text-to-speech service currently selected on your device. It selects only a voice that the service marks as installed and not requiring a network connection in the chosen language, and does not initiate voice-pack downloads. Voice availability depends on your device. The external speech provider is responsible for its own internal processing, logging, and privacy practices.
If you enable TalkBack or another screen reader, that service can read interface text displayed by the app, which may include history or notes. The app does not provide an accessibility service that reads other apps' screens and does not automatically enable a system screen reader.
Your chosen keyboard or input service may process the text you enter in notes. Speech services, screen readers, keyboards, and system backup are governed by their own settings and privacy policies. This app does not request microphone permission or record your voice.
5. Clipboard and sharing you initiate
When you select Copy, the app writes the chosen calculation text to the system clipboard. The app does not read or monitor the clipboard. After copying, an app into which you paste, or a clipboard-sync feature provided by your system, may process that content under its own rules.
The current Share Calculator feature sends a fixed app introduction through the system share sheet. It does not automatically attach your notes, expressions, or identifiers. When you send content through another app, the recipient and service you choose process it. Deleting the original content in this app does not withdraw copies already copied, shared, or retained by recipients.
6. Contacting support and viewing policy pages
If you voluntarily email support, we process your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to provide to answer your enquiry and address the issue you raise. Email and communication providers transmit and store these messages. Please avoid sending sensitive information unrelated to your issue; we do not require all your notes or calculation history.
When you view policy pages in the in-app WebView or another browser, hosting, content-delivery, and security services process network requests. The in-app viewer disables JavaScript, cookies and third-party cookies, does not expose an Android JavaScript bridge, and does not send your private app content to these pages. If a page is served through Cloudflare, this processing may include IP addresses, traffic-routing data, request times, and browser or device configuration information to deliver the page and protect the service. You can review the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for information about its services. The policy website does not require uploads of your app notes or calculation records. We do not link website-request information to private app content or use it for advertising profiles.
7. Retention, deletion, and security
Local app content remains until you delete it or clear the corresponding storage. Clearing calculation history first moves it to the recycle bin, which retains at most the 30 most recently cleared histories; this is different from permanent deletion. You can separately delete calculation rows, archives, recycle-bin entries, and notes in the independent notebook. Deleted notebook notes have no in-app recycle bin for recovery.
Resetting preferences does not delete calculation history, archives, or notes. To remove all local app data, you can use Android's clear-app-storage function. System backups and copies you have already copied or shared need to be managed separately as described above.
Local files are protected by Android's app sandbox. The app does not provide a separate password lock for notes or application-level content encryption. Device encryption, backup protection, and external-service security depend on the relevant system and provider. Please protect your device and backup accounts.
We retain support emails you voluntarily send only for as long as needed to answer enquiries, address related issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention of website-request information depends on the relevant hosting and security services, their configuration, and applicable requirements. We do not promise that we can remotely delete content held only on your device or in a third party's backup.
8. Your choices and contact
You can change sound, result reading, vibration, language, and display preferences in the app, and manage screen readers, keyboards, and backup through system settings. You do not need an app account to use the app.
For questions about this policy, information you voluntarily send us, or access, correction, deletion, and other requests available under applicable law, contact Fidei Trading Limited at ymwotow411846@gmail.com. We cannot read or remotely delete history or notes stored only on your device, but can explain the corresponding local controls.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy as features or data practices change and will update its effective date. Where a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will follow those requirements. Third-party systems and services remain subject to their own policies.
